What Are You Looking At? (June): BFree Art Connection

BFree Studio 3 June 2023
BFree Studio 11 AM - 1 PM

It's an Art Club - kind of like a book club but for art - with a teacher and without the reading.

You love learning and discussing art and artists? Or do you feel that "I don't get it"? Let's get together and let's get it together!

Does art fill you with joy? With wonder or awe? Are you curious to learn more? Who made it? How is it made? What does it all mean, or how does it mean? Simple questions, no wrong answers. Let's share and learn together - it's how we connect with art and art connects with us.

We get together once a month to learn together and from each other by looking at art works, talking about them, relating to them, thinking about them, and maybe even learn about ourselves. Either way, we'll find joy doing it.

In this 2 hours salon-style get-together we will get to know art and each other. Learn about artists and their lives. About movements, groups and ideas. Talk about how we relate to and feel about the works we discuss.

We'll discuss in smaller groups and as a whole, all the while enjoying each others insights or ignorance, questions or bedufflements, and personal reactions to the works we discuss.

It's not a lecture, it's not a class, it's a chance to be curious and learn.

Prerequisite for this event is curiosity and an open mind and heart.

RSVP Here!   Cost is $10
